According to exit polls, the Republican ticket won those who attended religious services one or more times a week, while the Democratic ticket won those who attended services fewer times or never, with the vote tilting more Democratic with less frequent attendance:

A few times a month: Obama 53%, McCain 46%
A few times a year: Obama 59%, McCain 39%
Never: Obama 67%, McCain 30%
